Continuing medical education (CME) and continuing professional development (CPD) are indispensable as part of lifelong learning and may be regarded as equally or more important than undergraduate and postgraduate medical education. Continuing medical education activities Designed for physicians and other healthcare professionals, and to Medical School faculty physicians and other clinical staff.Continuing medical education is the process by which health professionals keep updated to meet the needs of patients, the health service, and their own professional development. It includes the continuous acquisition of new knowledge, skills, and attitudes to enable competent practice.

The Egyptian Association for Continuing Medical Education Development Cooperates with the competent authorities organizations to develop a comprehensive and modern  system for CME development and raise awareness of health care professionals about the importance of developing their professional skills and the extent of positive reflection on the health system and the region in general
